Carbo Culture joins Negative Emissions Platform
Carbo Culture makes functional biocarbons and biographite from waste to keep CO2 out of the atmosphere. It is working with green and blue infrastructure and carbon negative materials developers to start a new era of Carbon Culturing.

By turning biomass into biochar, Carbo Culture locks carbon into a stable, solid form for over a thousand years. Taking advantage of carbon’s path from the atmosphere to plant matter to create a stable storage form is what makes biochar a negative emissions technology.
Henrietta Moon, CEO & Co-Founder of Carbo Culture said: "We need to scale up carbon removal in addition to the major emission reductions needed to remain below 1,5°C. Since we have so little time to ramp this new field of climate technologies and projects to scale, it's imperative that policymakers understand the realities of project capacities today and goals of our near future. Alone, we can't make the science be heard, but together we may just be able to do that. That's why Carbo Culture has joined the Negative Emissions Platform".
